Who we are

The majority of adults in Europe and Cyprus enjoy drinking alcoholic beverages and consider it a social and relaxing process. But this does not change the fact that the consumption of alcoholic beverages must be done RESPONSIBLY and IN MODERATION.

This request was the trigger for the "Drink in Moderation" initiative created by the Association of Importers and Distributors of Alcoholic Beverages of Cyprus (SEAPK). Our goal is to promote responsible alcohol consumption in Cyprus and avoid the adoption of harmful and socially unacceptable patterns of alcohol consumption.

In this context, POTO ME METRO collaborates this year with REACTION in the organization of the Night without Road Collisions, on Saturday, October 20, 2018.

Vassilis Petridis, President of SEAPK and Poto Me Metro, said in this regard:

"It is with great pleasure that POTO ME METRO, an initiative involving eight companies that import and distribute alcoholic beverages in Cyprus, is collaborating this year with REACTION in organizing the Night without Road Collisions in Cyprus.We consider it important as an organization as well as all the companies that make it up to emphasize in all directions that alcohol and driving do not go together and that the responsible attitude is not to drive when we have drunk. We will convey this message again on Saturday 20/10 at central points in Nicosia and Limassol and it is our hope that the message will be put into practice and that all groups take care in every outing, either to determine the Guide of the Group, who will undertakes to transport his company safely, or to decide in advance how they will return safely to their homes. In closing, I would like to thank all the volunteers, who are the soul of the evening."
